Company Overview
Emet Classical Academy is a Jewish preparatory school for 5th to 12th graders on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
We are committed to the pursuit of human excellence in every academic and cultural field and the perpetuation of Jewish, Zionist, and American exceptionalism. Our academic program focuses on the best of Western culture, the foundational ideas of Jewish civilization, and the advanced study of math, modern science, art, and music. Emet welcomes families of any background and aims to prepare our students for lives of Jewish purpose and civic leadership.
Emet is the first classical Jewish prep school in the country. Our laser focus on the core ideas and texts of Western civilization makes us unique in the current educational landscape and very different from other New York City public and private schools. Our study of Jewish history and commitment to Israel connects young students to their heritage from a place of deep knowledge and moral seriousness. Our purpose is to train students in the best a classical Western education has to offer, from grammar and rhetoric to high level math and science. The goal is simple: to forge citizens who will strengthen American civic life and make great contributions to every field of human endeavor.
