Description

Madison Country Day School, a PK-12 International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, is seeking an experienced educator for the 2019-20 school year as a full-time high school mathematics teacher.

Experience teaching in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is encouraged, but not required.

Applicants should possess not just a love of mathematics, but also a love of working with adolescents and the desire to advance both an evolving school and your own professional expertise.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work within a collaborative math department
  • Be comfortable teaching topics ranging from algebra to calculus
  • Serve as a high school advisor
  • Be expected to contribute to the school’s extracurricular offerings
  • Be comfortable teaching different ages, including the possibility of middle school classes
  • Have a required bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
